Default i dont need to read the phone at all...

I can now unlock 7100v blackberries so that you can use it with other networks. I can also do this without you sending me your blackberry. All you need to do is send your IMEI# via email and i'll send back your unlock code.

My turn around time is 24 hours....and i think a fair price is $50.00, which is less than half of what i've seen offered and you have no shipping cost!

I am working on unlocking the 7100x without having the device sent to me, and i'll let you know how that goes.

I also unlock the 7230 as well.... actually i unlock anything Vodafone.

Just letting ya know.. if you need it... i've done several this week and not one problem.

I should add how handy this is to avoid roaming charges for the UK users... to be able to use a local network card while traveling is incredible.....

Default Any Update on unlocking BB's?

I was just passed an AT&T BB 7210 by my co-worker who last used it nearly a year ago. It is locked (Network="active"). It does not make economic sense for me to spend in excess of $100 to have it unlocked. Any one know of any updates on unlocking these things? I have not made any tries, so I have 10 shots remaining.

Ah...I started to try this with some friends, but it's _unbelievably_ difficult. Sure, the basic stuff, like text input, works, but we couldn't figure out how to do Multitap and forget about SureType.

OTOH, you might be a better coder than me + four others, who knows?

Unlock codes are unique to a specific BlackBerry. An unlock code for one BB will not work on any other BlackBerry. I've tried it too many times myself

That's a good idea Jibi. To remind everyone, as of today the only way to get your BB unlocked if your carrier will not do it is to contact Bongo Wireless.
