Default Snake games collection

Please Login to Remove!

All you old school nokia users out there probably remember the good old times when you played snake at your phones.. its addictive..

Anyway, I came across some homemade versions for this, these are free for personal usage.

Snake 1:
Snake Classic v1.1 - Mobile Java Games

Not working:
Snake 2:
Snake 2 EX - Mobile Java Games
Snake 3:
Snake 3 - Mobile Java Games

I've only tested snake 1, works fine.

Installation:

Copy the JAR / JAD file(s) to either phone memory or memory card.
At the phone browse to the files and open one of them, you'll get the download option, just choose download. (it should not use internet traffic)

By request I'm adding a how-to install from memory card

Download to computer, connect phone to computer trough USB, copy the files to your phone (memory card).
Use phone browser (media -> menu key, choose explore). Browse to where you placed the JAR file, select it and open, It should show you the download dialogue. Press download and it should install it (it will not use data traffic).

Hope this helps the one of you that have issues, if not just post it

finally someone posted the directional keys. I could barely get 10 seconds in a game and was getting tired of only making right turns.

btw, I could only get one of those to work on my 8310-- the first Snake 1:
Snake Classic v1.1 - Mobile Java Games works.

The other two, one would load/install, and the other craps out on opening.

gotta love those java games that load up on the BB. same thing with the zelda game. the keys are hard to get used to. not sure if you can change them in this, but in zelda there is a config menu where you can remap the keys.

I downloaded a bunch of them, quite a few didn't work. Connect4 seemed like it had multiplayer support like Medieval Chess does, but I could not get it to load. Only a few games have worked properly thus far :(
