Yeah, but we need it to work on the standard - not the 6.0 on the BB 10020 I heard you're using.

Just a quick question. I got the initial sync down successfully. After going for a day my battery has kind of taken a beaten. I've got it set on both my BlackBerry and laptop to sync every half hour. If I extend it to sync every one hour on my BlackBerry and leave it as a half hour on my laptop will go out of sync or will everything be fine?

You'll be fine...changes are held on the server for "catch up." The interval on the BB and PC don't have to be the same.

Sent... Josh, is there a way to specify WHICH of several Outlook contact files should be used to sync contacts with? My Outlook contact database is WAY too large to want it to reside on the BlackBerry, so I created one that I have used to sync with Desktop Manager called "BlackBerry Contacts" but I haven't found any way to specify that? Under "Advanced Setting --> Contacts" I get a screen that says "Choose the sync folder for contact" but it will allow no entry to be made.

this 7.9 build will incorporate the advanced folder settings so that you can identify which contacts, or notes or ?? folders to sync with your BB device.

We will be launching the new back end site for clients, tomorrow by 5 pm PST and will also release the 7.9 build at that time as well. Thank you for being patient. This build will address the great majority of the bugs that were sent in to us. There are only a few things that we cannot seem to fix, 1) Cal item where it is recurring and all day event, when it syncs to PC, you lose the all day part and 2) we cannot capture batch deletes of items and Shift + Delete of items.

At this time, I have held off on sending out more coupon codes. I want to make sure that we provide the level of attention to the existing users. Once the load lightens up, then we can move forward. Thanks for understanding.

That is great Josh - I can't wait to get back in to test this out! I'm assuming that this will correct the issue for those of us that the system says we do not have a valid account, even though we do?

I would not suggest that people download what is on the site currently as it is a pre-release build for internal testing. We expect to make some minor changes to the build before the 5pm release. It will cause more problems to keep track of the versions, pre-release, release, etc. Thanks.

I know this program is designed for us to sync wirelessly but I am just curious how will manually syncing with the good old USB/BlackBerry Desktop Manager effect the BBerrySync application?
I am just asking because I can't my Tasks to sync from my Outlook to BlackBerry. Notes and Calendar items seem fine but the Tasks won't go threw.
