Currently Iam looking into performing a In-place upgrade on my BES 4.0.7 box to ver 4.1, but I need to test this process out first.
My current trial key for BES 4.0 had expired ages ago, I downloaded the trial key for BES 4.1 and managed to start all the Blackberry services, but when I goto Blackberry Manager, its got a RED "X" with the SRP Status - Disconnected. Sometimes the "Test Network Connection" responds as Success but mostly "connect () failed: connect timeout out".
I can see the network traffic going to RIM (SRP), but dont always get a response back from them.
I know previously version 4.1 trial key normally did work with BES 4.0, any other ideas what it could be ?
