Ok, I've looked around for this answer before posting this, but as of yet I cannot find the answer.

Last year at WES, one of the sessions had several slides on the message flow of an email message through the RIM network, carrier network, etc. It showed where the message was encrypted and where it wasn't. There were also slides on the message flow of a Pin to Pin message and how it wasn't encrypted but scrambled. What I didn't think about asking at the time was what is the path of a Blackberry messenger message. I'm curious if it follows the same rules as a Pin to Pin, including being scrambled, but not encrypted. Anyone have an idea?

I'm guessing (and guessing only) that since it's a PIN to PIN message disguised as an IM that it would follow the same flow as PIN to PIN.
