Default I did it! I ordered a 7520 today.

Please Login to Remove!

After hours of reading posts, searching and researching, I ordered a 7520.

I was using a Nextel phone and paper day planer (for years). I hope the 7520 will become my email (office and personal), day planner, and direct connect (PTT), AND give me news headlines and weather. I ride a motorcycle for a living, so a bluetooth ear piece will soon follow.

My next message will be via BB,

I used to carry a phone, laptop and palm pilot. I gave them up for a 6510 when Nextel first introduced the BB to their line up. I now have a 7520 and haven't looked back since. Not even for my laptop.

I ride a motorcycle as well, I started using a Scala 500 Headset today. It has a clip for your sunglasses. I rode today and it did not fall at all!!

I've only had my 7520 for about 2 weeks; I have no idea how I functioned before without it

Makes life so much easier

Enjoy your purchase

I've only been a BB user for about one week and the feeling of being free of a desktop or laptop and still being connected is just wonderful. The BB is also simple to use and always on. What amazes me is the long battery life if you don't use the phone a lot, as I don't.

(My carrier is Cingular.)

I really like seeing the people in the airport having to "reset" their treo because of "all the millions of applications available"...I just laugh..

Hmmmm, I still carry a Laptop, BB 7290 & Cell Phone. I will never be able to give up the Laptop and as for the cell phone, I am stuck under a contract and thats the only issue holding me back from moving to the BB for calls.

Red face

God help me. My mother just showed up at my house with a 7520. So I'm sitting here adding all the stuff she wants and her contacts. Big change for her from her i60c. I wonder what I'm in for here.

I'd like to ride a motorcycle for a living.

Anyhow, once you go Black(berry) you won't go back.

That's for sure, it makes so much sense to use the Blackberry. I have had a 7520 for a few months and I will definately not switch back to a normal phone.

***UPDATE***

My Mom's BB is up and running. I got her BWC set up and she's picking it up qiuck. She already sent me and my son a couple of PIN messages. I showed her how to sync outlook, and she said, that means I don't need to carry my day planner. I told her no, no more day planner. She said, I feel 20 lbs lighter already!!!

*****UP DATE*****

Well, I am still waiting. The 7520 should be here by 08/17/05 or 08/18/05. There was some delay at government sales...

But, the guy promised me in writing that it should be here by Thursday at the latest. Yeah, like that would stand up with nextel (my phone was late, please give me 20% off my next bill).

I'm going to hold my breath until it gets here
