Default which BB to get

My old phone is ready for upgrading and have had a look at the available phones from my carrier (o2) and have narrowed my choice down to either the 8120 pearl or the 8310curve. my question being as i use my phone mainly for calls and e-mail, but would find the sat nav very useful, which phone would you guys reccomend. I like the idea of a full qwerty keyboard and the apparently larger screen on the 8310 but the pearl comes with wi-fi conectivity. would the wi-fi make a significant difference for gps? or does the larger screen and qwerty keyboard outweigh this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Pearl's Wi-Fi radio probably wouldn't help with GPS unless you had continuous connectivity to a hotspot while driving. The Wi-Fi is nice for faster web browsing and data, but it seems like you would be better off going with the Curve 8310.

I tried the Pearl but ended up getting the Curve as I found it easier to use the full qwerty keyboard than the suretype on the Pearl

Default Thank You

Thank you for your quick responses to my question, I think after having tried my Brothers 8310 I was hooked on the qwert keyboard, just needed a push in the right direction, thanks again

. . . but you can pair the Pearl with a BT GPS Puck and achieve the same result.

Wirelessly posted

I have the wifi curve and I never use the wifi. Just think about how frequent you are near any wifi spots.
