just bought a sony stereo headset and have it linked properly with bb pearl. can make and receive calls just fine but cannot get the media player to play the music through it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

the 8100 doesnt support a2dp at this time.

The 8100 doesn't support bluetooth stereo. Only the 8130 Pearl 2. You will have to wait for the new OS and hopefully that will fix your problem.
