Well, I re-ran the diagnostics and now it says my email is connected. When it wasn't working, it said 'No' to my yahoo email being connected. So, if it's still happening or if it happens again and you talk to a support person I would use this diagnostic to force them to admit there is a problem. I wonder if we are all on the same Server - for those of us who it all of a sudden started working for.

My server is GBISXNAC02S01

Nice! RIM definetely did something since you both loss connection briefly and you guys are on different carriers (i think, cant see it right now...)

Ill run a quick diagn test shorlty to see if it nows says yes to the email connection thing... although I really dont care what it says right now... its working!!!

Mine seems to be fixed, too. I got home from the gym tonight and my 8310 had GSM and not edge or EDGE. I reset the connection and tested my Yahoo email and it's instant and is two-way syncing.

Hey!! Two-way sync seems to be working for me now and email messages are arriving pretty darn quick. Let's stick around here just a bit and make sure this sticks!

Fingers crossed.

Tommy...you probably saw my post. My phone went offline then back on and things were working and ran another diag. test and was connected to Yahoo. Try shutting th radio off and then turning it back on and see what happens.

i got a registration message too... its a good sign. its also something you can do yourself whenever youre having problems with the network (e.g. web). I find that if you change time zone (e.g. after a east coast/west coast flight) it always help to re-register since youre using towers from a completely different part of the country, although on the same network.... the option is under: advanced options/host routing tables / hit menu (bb) / select register now.... then youll receive the message you just did....

Very happy to report I have successfully got myself reconnected to the yahoo server. I ran a diagnostic and then a battery pull. When I first ran the diagnostic it WAS NOT connected but after a battery pull it showed as connected and is working.

Good to hear Tommy!

As mentioned..let's hope this lasts and they don't do any maintenance anytime soon (they seem to do it as often as my workplace data center and it makes me insane).

It was nice to have a constructive discussion here on this topic instead of it turning into a s***show like discussions do on my car forums.

Fingers crossed all!

Yahoo seems to be working fine now. I had a heck of a time today, I would get the spinning hourglass for 15 minutes and couldn't do anything, not sure if it was Tahoo trying to sync or not, but things <seem> to be fine now.

hurray ! mine works too.
I had tried to contact Yahoo Plus support and got this reply (which I particularly dont know is right or not):

I understand your are unable to sync your Yahoo! mail with your
Blackberry.
I'm sorry that you are encountering an issue for Yahoo! Mail POP
functionality. The POP mail feature will only work when configured from
your Inbox and, if set to, your bulk mail folder. However, you cannot
POP mail which has been filtered to a folder.
Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Mobile.

Maybe yahoo is on drugs ~

Wirelessly posted (At&t curve)

So everything was working great. Then at about 2:30 in the morning it downloaded every email in my inbox, read or unread. About 400 messages.
