I've a simple J2ME midlet app that makes a platformRequest to launch a browser on the handset. I converted it to cod and then ran on the emulator. It works fine i.e. load the browser with the provided url.

Now when I loaded that app on the 8800, the app pops up the message

"The application TestMidlet is attempting to invoke the browser. Would you like to allow this?" with Yes and No options. So far so good.

However, I can't really select Yes, as the focus keeps coming back to No. I tried this on Curve too and the same behavior.

Now I am not sure whether I need to sign the application for this operations, and if so, what would be the permission settings if at all?

Has anyone experienced similar issue?
