I know that this issue is related to different versions of the CDO.dll and Mapi32.dll on the server.

But I'm not sure on how to fix it.

Some Information:

Exchange Server
Windows 2003 SP2
Exchange 2003 SP2
CDO.DLL Ver 6.5.7651.61
MAPI32 Ver 6.5.7638.1

BES Server
Windows 2003 R2 SP2
Exchange 2003 Managemet Tool (Require by BES)
BES 4.1.4.15
CDO.DLL Ver 65.7638.2
MAPI32 Ver 6.5.6944.0


Can I install Exchange SP2 on the BES Server with only the Management tools on it?

Please let me know how to fix the issue.

You don't need to install Exchange 2003 SP2, it's already installed. You're version of MAPI32.dll proves that. Just copy the cdo.dll from Exchange to the BES and register it in system32.

Just open a command prompt, navigate to system32 and type regsvr32 cdo.dll. Then restart the Dispatcher service.

My bad, I was reading to fast. Install SP2 for Exchange 2003 but still copy the cdo.dll from Exchange to BES though. The version you have is not from SP2 but the DST updates.
