Default pushing os to device?

Please Login to Remove!

Here's what I have...a BB 8703e running v4.2.1.106...

I need to reload the OS, get it sync'ed properly with our BES, which I think I can do, and get a certain BB application that allows the viewing of Outlook email attachments on the BB itself. I have been unable to find this app or the OS image and how to push it to this device. I have BB Desktop version 4.3 loaded on my desktop, but when i run the application loader, it says there no apps to load.

Make any sense?

thx

Go to the VZW download site to download and install the relevant OS onto your PC.

VZW does not supply the OS image...I was told it comes from Blackberry.net, but i can't find it. Someone else mentioned it was from my BES, but i still don't know how to get it pushed....

My mistake, sorry, I really am unfamiliar with BES. I am afraid I do not know where you would get an OS image from but hopefully someone who does will come along and help you.

You need to get the handset code from your carrier.

With the OS version you are currently running you can't upgrade the handset OTA.

You need to be running 4.5 (Not sure if this is available on general releas yet and have BES 4.1.5. This is out of your control unless you are the besadmin.
