Default Today screen Calendar issue

Please Login to Remove!

On my today screen my next 2 upcoming appointments are showing June 6th and June 7th despite the fact that I have many upcoming appts between now and then.

I pulled the battery and there was no change.

I created new appts before June 6th and they still don't show up.

I deleted an appt on June 7th and the next one after that now shows.

I switched to a different today theme and no change.

I am running 4.5 on my 8100, but I have been using 4.5 for a while and it just started doing this for no apparent reason yesterday.

Any ideas?

Yes, downgrade your OS.

sigh, I knew someone was going to say that, I shouldn't have mentioned what OS I was using.

4.5 was running fine for weeks, that is not the issue.

I am fine with re-installing my Current OS, but I will not downgrade.

Anyone have any other ideas?

keep in mind you have an OS that is not complete, and not everything is working correctly. try changing themes then changing back, if that doesnt work, blank the calendar and reload the information. if that doesnt work, reload the OS. if that doesnt work downgrade.

Well I already tried changing themes and that didn't work.

No matter what I will not downgrade my OS.

I will try your other 2 suggestions though...

Thanks.

OK, it is now showing my current upcoming appts, however it is only showing the first 2 for my Default calendar, not my first 2 for any calendar.

Is that the way it is supposed to be? Meaning is that the way it does it on 4.3?

I tried changing my default calendar ( Options>Advanced Options>Default Services>Calendar (CICAL): ) and when I change it my upcoming appts do change to the next 2 for whatever calendar I set as default.

If there no way to have it show all?

Well that is stupid. So we can only see our Work appointments OR our Personal appointments?

Where is the logic in that?

Or what if you have 2 jobs? You risk missing an appointment because it won't show on your Today screen.

Makes no sense.

I occassionally have calendar issues like this, where not all appointments are showing, or the new ones don't. I change the configuration in the Desktop Manager to replace all the appointments.

Synchronize on the Desktop Manager -> in the window click the Configuration tab. Press the Configure Synch... highlight the Calendar sync (1st one for me) Click the Setup button and choose Outlook. In the Synchronization options window which appears I then use one way sync to Device (3rd option for me) and check Replace all data in the target application.

This has worked every time for me. Then I just change it back to sync normally, and it goes like this for a while, until the next time it goes wonky.

Try it, I am not on 4.5 but it works just fine this way with 4.3
