Default "Mute" incoming call

When the Blackberry phone rings and I do not want to take the call, what button do I push? On cell-phones you usually push any button to quiet that thing.
Thank you!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

If you want to hang up immediately, ust hit the ESC key. If you want it to continue ringing I think you can just roll the wheel to quiet the ring.

Thank you. It is my intent to let the call go into the mailbox. What's the best option, without having that annoying ringing in the middle of a conversation with somebody?

On my Verizon 7250, when a call come in a screen pops up asking if I want to accept or ignore the call. if I ignore it, it goes to voicemail. If you wan to mute the call after taking the call, I believe that you can tap the button on top of the phone (at least on the 7250)

I can confirm what Burgerd posted - On the 7290, rolling the track wheel silences the the ringer.
