Thats the SIM card, but if you have the phone listed (8703) you wouldnt have a SIM card nor would you have a media card. What is the device you are using.

What are the largest things in your databases? if you could break it down that would help.

Wirelessly posted

Really? Please list all under database sizes and size of each. Shouldn't be that high. Something in there hogging the memory. No wonder your emails are disappearing.

cmariani-- Do you have the 8703 or the the 8830? The 8703 does not have a media card. If you have the 8830, go to Options > Media Card. Does it say one is installed in the BB? If so, then you have one.

Your issue is low memory, the tips provided in the threads work, and are about all you can do--delete media or move it to your Media Card (get one if you don't have one)...

Emails are about third down the line after SMS and call logs to delete.

Sorry, I have an 8830, not an 8703. I haven't updated my profile yet.

I do not have a media card installed, this I have confirmed.

You need one to move all the pictures and stuff to, and following the threads posted, you will be fine.

See previous post - there's something hogging your memory, and that's no doubt the reason for your vanishing emails. Please go back to database sizes and list each entry with sizes so we can figure out where the problem might be.

There is one great culprit. The content store keeps pictures, ringtones, etc. Use Desktop Manager to do a full backup of your BB, which will backup the content store as well. Then, run backup/restore Advanced in Desktop manager and clear the content store on your device from the right side pane.

See what you've lost. If it's important, you can use the same method to restore just the content store database back to your device.

And get all the media over to a Media Card. Then you won't need to restore the content store.

Great thanks. What is the largest size card that the phone will recognize? I'll stop at lunch and get one.
