After i am in a call for more then 10 seconds the person i am talking to goes silent and a call fail error pops up on my phone.. Sometimes it dosent even ring and the call fail error comes up.

I am still receiving emails and txts to the phone. Is this a common problem that can be fixed? i do not have insurance on the phone to bring it to get fixed.

I have tried restarting , pulling the battery , enabling and disabling the wireless.

You may need to wipe and reload the OS. If you attempt this make sure that you do a backup first! What OS version are you running and what is your free memory?

How would i go about reloading and clearing the Os?

i jsut did a hard reset and it is only Staying in GSM and Is still having the call failed error
help!!

Your memory is fine. Here is the link for reloading the OS. You might wait a little while and see if others chime in with solutions short of this one. Just be sure to back up the device first before proceeding. Be patient through the process. I may take up to 1.25 for the device to finish the process. DO NOT become inpatient and disconnect the device before the process is complete.

Well i already did a hard Reset and the problem is still i am stuck in GSM ...

By hard reset you mean a battery pull while the device is on right? It sounds as if your Phone application has become corrupt and I am talking about completely wiping the Operating System and reloading it fresh....

No i just did a complete OS wipe ... it dident work then i look down and i have EDGE so i used it for about an hour succsefully and now it is back to GSM and i am getting the same Call failed error

it might be a problem with the SIM card, your provider can easily switch it, or maybe try using it in an other phone first
