Default How stop "Delivered" confirmation emails?

Please Login to Remove!

How do I stop confirmation emails from being sent to my GMail inbox and handset? I have a filter set up so that I do not get duplicate copies on my handset. However, I have two problems:

1) My GMail inbox is receivein "Delivered" emails. I do not want these; and

2) My handset still retains copies of sent emails. I I send i from my Gmail inbox, I get a yellow envelope on my handset. If I send it from the handset, I get a yellow envelope showing it came from my account and blue check mark showing who I sent it to.

How do I fix these? Thanks!

BTW--I am on TMO.

Then you do not have the filter set up right. How do you have it set up currently?

for the confirmation issue. I think this will help get rid of it.

Go to your Messages
Then Options
Then Email Settings
Scroll through on the top to the Gmail account
There are three settings under that.
Make sure "Confirm Delivery" is set to NO
As well as the other ones usually too...that's what I have anyway.

If the "From" field
"contains" "myuserid@gmail.com"
Then "do not send to handset and do not forward"
to "myusedid@gmail.com" - I have also left this blank but it is the same

I have changed the settings for the "delivered" messages and it has stopped them from coming to my handset but they are still coming to my gmail inbox.

I didn't understand the last part. This is how my screen looks. Don't see anything to leave blank.

My T-Mobile BIS is completely different. It is part of the T-MObile page. perhaps I am logging into the wrong site?

Can you provide me a link to Tmobile BIS in the event I have something wrong? Thanks.

That's not the BIS site.

Log in to the your T-Mobile account. Then click on the "Curve" icon at the top right hand side of the page. Then, again, up on the upper right hand side, you will see a link that says "Set up Blackberry Email" or something like that. That's where you can set up the filter.

P-Nut, you are the best. If you were in Portland, OR I would buy you a beer or three!
