Since AOL is the problem, and if Ramble keeps its architecture intact, a new version won't solve the problem til AOL opens up toc.oscar.aol.com to third parties.

this freaking sucks big monkey balls....why is it that Aol has to be so freaking gay....i have dealt with aol inthe past and they are just some little winey 5 years old that if they dont get their way they try and stop everyone else form having anything anywhere near or remotely fun...so yeah it doesnt surprise me that aol has done this...its kinda sad though...but thats life shit happens....and we thank you for the wonderful product you have created i know me and many of my friends have loved it and its great programability.....i will not be buying any of the other products of instant messagers for the bb cause they pretty much all suck compared to ramble...funny how something free can be better than something you are paying for ....but yeah guess i will be without aim until aol stops being little kids and grows up

In other words get rid of Ramble and install something else if you want to IM, right?

Well Dont hold your breath I dont see a fix for this at all. AOL shut it down and when they do away with something you can forget getting it back

I don't mind paying for an AOL IM client, but I keep reading mixed opinions of the other options. Are any of them as fast as Ramble was at conversation? The one that comes with the 7100t is horrible...so slow and deducts SMS from your account for every exchange.

Make sure you get one that connects directly to AOL, not something that is a look-a-like and is sending SMS.

I think that verichat was the least slow out of all of the other clients.

Yeah, but why is Verichat for BB $10 more for the to purchase and another $10 more per year after that with no end in sight. That sucks. It doesn't do any more on the BB.

I'm just hoping someone will develop an app for Google's IM client. Then after that, I'm hoping Google's IM client will be able to interface with all the other clients.

*sigh*

Wonder how long I can hold out. 'G'Ramble.....where are you......
