Are you using BIS?

Start with Menu>options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Tables>menu>Register Now.

Battery Pull

Login to your BIS site and resend service books

Good Luck!

P.S. Update you model on your profile so others know what you are now using for a device!

When I go into Host Routing table I do not see an option for register now, it just lists all the verizon tables. On my old BB, I do see when you click on any table, it gives you the option to view and register now, on the new BB, it automatically just goes into view the table.

when you click Host Routing Table, hit the menu key, and select Register Now

You will need to login to your carriers BIS site. Here is the information on BIS. If you did not create a carrier issued address and password you will need to do so from the handheld first and then login. The username will be the fist part of the carrier address that you create i.e. [email address] "Joe_Smith" is the username:

EDIT- You will need to go into the BIS site VIA PC and enter the PIN and IMEI of the new device and then resend service books. WOW I really need more coffee!!!!

ok, did you go to the e-mail set up icon in your new BB, or just use the switch device wizard? If using the wizard, you still need to go to e-mail setup and use the link called "Change device" or switch device or something like that. Enter your new PIN/ESN and it will have you confirm your email passwords. I think you can also do this through the BIS website: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw

Thanks, That worked, I think the older I get, the simplest things get more difficult.
