I've been running .18 for a week now with no real issue's. I am having a problem saving video's from the video recorder. Does anyone have a remedy for this issue?

I can see the files using the explore function and they are called "VID 0003.3GP.lock.rem." Why is there a lock function in the video's?

From Opera Mini, go to m.youtube.com. I was able to see videos from both Opera Mini (new non-beta 4.1 is what I have) and bb's browser in .18 with my 8300.

A four day trade show and no mention of the new OS for existing users! The "Bold" will be using 4.6 or 4.7? That is due in 30-60 days? So, where is at LEAST a time frame for delivering 4.5 for the customers that already put money into RIM's pocket??

iPhone2 is gonna STEAL the audience before RIM knows even they left...

there have been quite a few nay sayers in the past. oh, the iphone price dropped and they launched a 16gb version... RIM is going to be hurting...

oops, forgot, record sales/profits/net adds last quarter.

As to unzipping the file and not being able to find it, just go to unzip it again, and it will prompt you for a location. dont change the locationa nd it should be where you unzipped it to previously

I have been running it for about a week, pretty stable. Only issue I notice is when I do a battery pull, my BB Messenger says that I have a new pin and it must update the people on my contact list. Annoying, but not a huge issue. It puts my contacts in a "Pending PIN Update" status until they message me.

I've had this for like 2 weeks now, pretty satisfied with it but I do notice sometime the GSM signal drops and it's searching for network again... Not a big deal, came right back up after a second. Otherwise, pretty good so far!

Two days NEW to 4.5.0.18 and all I can say is "WOW"... looks beautiful and works wonderfully!!!

Having 7.5 GB of music (and indexes really fast now on start-up) is awesome, the browser is a huge improvement and lots of nice GUI updates (Calendar especially).

All of my key 3rd party apps installed fine and are all working well. MapQuest install was a tad tricky with the "Allow" permissions but is now behaving nicely, boy do I love that app (the "talking" directions while I'm driving is just so nice).

My only 1 very small annoyance so far is that I'm on BES, so my BB locks after a bit. I'm set for no home screen dial but allow calls when locked. This worked fine on 4.2.2.194 and I could use my speed dial keys that way but on 4.5.0.18 the speed dials don't work when locked and you say "place a call" ???

Anyway - I loooooooooooove this OS////
