Well here's my story, i got a new bb8830 whcih i brought from the US, I am currently living in Argentina. The problem is the phone charged well the first 4 or 5 times, after that i would leave it on all night and the phone wold only charge up to 25 or 50% depends, now after 2 days the batt is up to 80%, what could b going on? Also when i used to plug it into the usb on my pc, since i didnt have the desktop manager the phone would show a message about not enough power to charge etc...and the computer would recognize it as a blackberry, but now none of that happens and the pc says usb device not recognized it could be malfunctioning. WHY!!! :( what can i do? i downloaded drivers to try charging my 8830 through the usb port, but nuttin happens, where do i put the drivers? i put it in system/drivers.....any tought or suggestions, any other drivers anyone can think of? please help

No i cant return it..........im kinda far now :( and dont wanna travel back for a cellphone

Are you sing a plug in charger to charge your device or the USB on your computer. If the USB on your computer, you need to have the Desktop Manager installed to up to voltage on your USB. If you are using a plug in charger, it is the blackberry OEM charger? If so there is a possibility the female connector might be coming loose from it connection on the circuit board. If so, you will have to find someone to repiar it of replace the device.

I find that the phone only charges correctly when plugged into the 110V charger. The lower the battery level, the more incapable the computer USB becomes at charging the battery.

Sounds like a problem with the computer USB, not the BB itself.

Other folks report the same around my office, same thing with my 7130.
