Hey has anyone heard of any update with the video recorder option for the curve 8310??? I heard the new software was supposed to be coming out??

You are referring to OS 4.5. It is not released yet by RIM, but we are hoping so for this summer.

Also, the new CDMA 8330's have OS 4.3, including the video recorder (at least mine on Bell does).

And yet Bell has the newest model at the moment with a faster network. LOL1111!!! (rolls eyes)

lets not get into a which carrier is better here, BUT bell got he curve 1 year after everyone else, the only different between your curve and mine is a little more memory, and a tad faster network, the faster network is useless unless you have the processing power to handle it, and the curve doesnt even the CDMA ones dont...

I have used the video camera on the 8310. The video is a bit choppy if you move the camera to fast and not the best quality as well but it gets the job done thats for sure better then any phone i ever had. Must have a SD card to be able to use the camera though. Requires the video files to store on. avarage 1 min video is 2.3 mb.
