What does that have to do with Roboform on a BlackBerry?

I can sort of see it... doesn't Roboform handle auto-completing forms, and the user did reference saved passwords and such in Safari. Maybe just being helpful to all those unenlightenened IE6 users?

On 5/28/08, I wrote to Robofrom to find out the BB status...

You wrote (2008/05/28 02:37 pm EST):
Hi,

I'm a user of Roboform on my PC as well as on my flash drive and I have to say, I LOVE THE PROGRAM!!!! I have all my passwords, secret questions from sites, etc stored on this thing and it's truly amazing.

I'd love to see support for RoboForm via my Blackberry phone. Is there any chance of getting access to RoboForm via the Blackberry in the near or not too distant future?

Thank you

We're sorry but there is no ETA on when a Blackberry version of RoboForm will be available.

Sad.

It is an excellent app, particularly for those of us who have a ton of URLs to use, online forms to fill, and (particularly) passwords to (re)create & remember for both business and personal use.

They were working on a blackberry beta long time ago (early 2007 I think) but claimed they were facing huge performance issues with the decrypt operation (claimed that decrypting one passcard took a few minutes!#!%), so I guess they gave up on trying.

But knowing they already had something working I wish they wouldn't give up so easily.

If you want it to go live one day lets all complain:

I love Roboform. I have mobile for work and standard for home. For my blackberry would be cool.

customshopkv1, please follow the link above and write to roboform support that you want it... it won't happen if we don't get vocal about it.

It seems that Roboform beta (0.5) is available. Did someone get a chance to try it out? RoboForm for Blackberry

What did you find out? I can't seem to get the icon to show up (once installed from Desktop Manager it shows up on Advanced Options on the Applications list but no icon on the launcher). Did someone got it working on their BB?

Mine is 8820 with OS 4.5.0.42

Thanks,
Ix.
