Question "Message Blocked"

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Guys,

I have a BB with that is linked to a BES account with Vodafone. Additionally i have two other emails setup on it, POP accounts. Now the BES part of it works with no problems, however, the two POP accounts come back with "Message Blocked" error when trying to send/receive emails.

Anyone familiar with this problem?

Regards,

CBeckett

Welcome to the BBForums.

Your IT Policy could be the culprit blocking your POP accounts. Are you able to receive them?

Hi JSanders,

Thanks for your reply.

The BES part of the blackberry is with a hosted exchange enviroment, a 3rd party, and doesnt have anything to do with the POP accounts. So id imagine that the routing of the POP stuff is not related to the IT Policy on the Blackberry.

So, if you will, imagine that you have a work BB and your work email is sync with your work BES exchange, but then you have youre personal emails setup as POP accounts on the BB.

Make sense?

Yes, it makes sense to me.

Do you have a corporate IT Policy on your device?

Nope, its straight out the box from Vodafone. All thats changed is the BES Activation and the two POP accounts, which used to work.
