Got a new 8310 Curve from AT&T and when I charge it fully overnight....it will not start....I push the mute key on the top..yet no luck...I have to remove the battery to get it to turn on....anyone have any ideas on either what I am doing wrong...or what could be causing this problem?

I had the same problem...I returned mine back to AT&T to get another one and haven't had any problems since...

the power button is the Red "end call" key. The key on top is for "mute."

Yeah if you look closely at the Red End Call button there is a small red power icon printed on the same button as well...
