My wife and I did the relay for life project last weekend for our church. Both sets of my grandparents died of cancer but my wifes grandparents died of it also. My wife had it about 10 years ago and it finally was cured. I've had plenty of loved ones with cancer and I know it's stupid but I also refuse to goto the dr to get tested for things anymore.

as for how long its going to be open, probably for a long time... I havent decided yet, but i might leave it open indefinitly that way we can alway collect donations then whenever it reaches a certain limit we will donate it.

wow, I was absolutely amazed and impressed that this thread got dawg a new phone. But then that it got members donating to charity, and then CO-WORKERS OF MEMBERS to donate... just an excellent job. On top of this being a great thing to help out dawg, I think even after we get all the money for him, we should keep this open for a while longer and let more people contribute so we have a even bigger amount to donate to the charity. Anyone else think that's a good idea?
