It's bad enough when I take my new Jawbone out of the recharger, I have told two buttons to go into pairing mode.

The most frustrating thing is then having to go to my Blackberry 8800 and manually connect the new Jawbone.

I've check all options and settings, deleted the Jawbone and set up a new device, rebooted the phone and the Jawbone.

Why doesn't the Jawbone 2 just automatically connect to the Blackberry 8800?

did you use some pin code to connect them?
