Is there a way to adjust the earpiece volume on the 8300 series?

There's volume up/down buttons on the side of the device.

I cranked that all the way up but the volume is still too soft and I barely hear anything when I am driving.

That could be a bad headphone or a bad connector - or if it's Bluetooth, a failing battery

I experience this issue, but I have accepted that the reason my earpiece was free from Verizon (as part of a package when I bought my phone) is because it's a low quality earpiece.

Sorry for the confusion. It's not the earpiece. It's the headset has low volume.

i would just buy a different headset as the ones that come with any phone are generally not that great, in my experience
