I was trialing BerryTunes. It expired. The next time I connected my 8330 to the desktop via usb BerryTunes was removed.

Is that normal?

That's kind of a hassle if it is because I was going to purchase a registration code for it today.

It's more likely that the application has some type of internal "time bomb". The Desktop Manager has no way of adding or removing any applications without the direct intervention of the user.

I did get a pop up from the desktop before it deleted it so I am sure I OK'ed it. Also I guess I dont understand the desktop because it reinstalled Windows Live Search and I deleted that from the hh yesterday.

I re-downloaded BerryTunes Internet radio player and it works as if the trial had never ran out.

That's weird. The trial ran out. The desktop removed it. I re-downloaded it and now the trial has started over????? Is that odd for bb 3rd party apps, to not prevent use after trials end?

My desktop manage uninstalls my yahoo messenger all the time. Never looked in why though.
