I have just acquired a Vodafone 7230 and have a question.If I reflash it with the BES Enterprise 4.0 OS will it remove the simlock.If not,is there any free unlocking software.

No and No! The only real fool proof unlocking option for BlackBerry's Data/Voice/PIN at the moment is Bongo Wireless www.bongowireless.com (no there is no other option let alone free) be warned BlackBerry unlocking doesn't come cheap...
