Default BES 5.0.2 and Exchange 2010 w/ OWA on same server

Please Login to Remove!

I apologize for what is a basic question but, I am not understanding the documentation on this.

I want to install BES 5.0.2 (full or express) on the same physical server as my existing Exchange 2010 SP1 server. I have OWA configured and in use on my Exchange server as well.

My confusion stems from the documentation - under the section "Supported Features and Environments" for the item "messaging server" it states:

The BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Express and BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express components support installation on the same computer as the messaging server.

I took this to mean my Exchange server. However, under the section "Unsupported environments" the item "email application" states:

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express and BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express components do not support installation on computers that host email applications.

I tried installing the BES on the server and it seemed to install ok but, I cannot start the BAS and I do not see any reference to it in IIS. Is this possible?

I appreciate any help you guys can provide!

Thanks,
Charles

Hi Knotty - thanks for the reply!!

Thanks for your help!

stop BAS service and then after 2 minutes try to log in again and post back the log.
