AT&T doesn't allow use of BBMaps with their devices.
The GPS gives you geotagging options for pictures. With proper BBMaps integration you have a "view on map" option in the menu when looking at geotagged pictures.
There's a work-around for BBMaps on AT&T but it's not complete.
So, even though I can geotag and can use BBMaps, because AT&T has a no BBMaps policy I don't have the full functionality of the phone available to me.
With T-Mobile, I can get slightly more completeness in the phones functionality. Now that T-Mob is releasing a GPS and WiFi capable BlackBerry (Javelin), I'll have all the functionality and features I desire. A great device becomes less great when you block functionality.
Cheers!
