Got a BB Curve 9320 for my daughter which won't auto toggle from wifi to 3g when she leaves the house.

Phoned vodaphone who informed me that NO smartphones auto toggle?!?!! (I did point out that my iphone can which she argued with me about).

Can this be true? Vodaphone say she has to manually turnoff the wifi setting when she leaves the house to be able to use 3g!?!?!?

She is set to wifi preferred.

Some clarification would be appreciated. Sounds a bit mad to me.

I've never heard of that being true.

If both are turned on, Wifi will normally take over, if it's available.
