Default Bluetooth Earpiece Recommendation?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Wanted to see if anyone had a GREAT recommendation for an over the ear bluetooth for 7100? Need good sound quality over all, and would prefer an outside the ear rather than behind.

Thanks,
Matt

Default Plantronics M2500

Got it free with my BB. I like it much better than my Jabra.

Unhappy Jabra BT800? or a voice dial solution?

Anybody use the Jabra BT800 with the 7100g? I have the Moto 810 right now and love it, but I really miss the ability to use voice-dial (I could with my previous phone - bl00dy RIM did not add that functionality)...

Anyway, obviously the BT800 will not add voice dial, but at least it lets you use the call log to dial out, which should ease the pain somewhat...

Do post your experience with the Jabra... or other recommendations if anyone has figured out a way to voice-dial out of a 7100g (software solution, maybe? - I know I am reaching here...)

Thanks all

Plantronics M3000 here. I like it a lot. Others have not.

Best thing is to go to a store and try several.

I have the Jabra BT-800, with the 7100g, here is my issue:

a) I have trouble receiving a call via the button on the BT-800, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Solution: I just press the receive button on the 7100g, to ensure I don't miss a call.

The Jabra website states that the BT-800 is not compatible with the 7100g, so I expected some issues. Everything else works according to specs, for $97.00 not a bad deal.

Regards,

Azeke

My Motorola HS820 work great, never had any complaints from callers, the volume could be a little louder, but i can still hear people pretty well when I am cruising down the freeway, AC on and the radio soft in the background. I have a 7100g.

I agree that the Jabra does have some static, but I have small ears, and the need to where my headset for up to 10 hours a day. The static is not so bad that the unit is unusable. I need the comfort and wearability, so I put up with the static.

Same here... apparently I have small ears, so the HS810 (loved it) wouldn't stay on my ear. I use a BT250v now.

I love my Jabra. Comfortable and no complaints on the sound. It controls the volume on the 7100G from the earpiece and can answer calls fine. You can only call out from the call log, no voice dialing.

Just got the Logitech Mobile Pro headset. So far I like it, it's comfortable and has good noise cancelation. Haven't tested battery time but it's supposed to get 9 hours.

I have the Motorola HS820 as well, it's a bit floppy on the ear but the sound quality is good, and I apparently sound better than if on the OEM wired earpiece....

Default Best Bluetooth headset for volume

I have the HS820 and really like it but the volume could be better. What headset has great volume (almost too loud)?

Bluespoon AX. It's very lightweight, is secured by a tube spring that rests in the folds of your ear, and the earpiece goes deep enough to allow you to hear it easily.

I just got the Jabra BT250v and I like it also.

It doesn't look quite as space-man as the Motorola earpieces.
