Default Bell Mobility Data Settings with a Sprint Device

Please Login to Remove!

I have been searching the forums, and I am find it hard to understand the data settings applicable.

I have a Sprint BB8830 on the Bell mobility network, with a BB data plan, and I cannot connect to the 1xEV network. I have searched and fiddled around with the CDMA programming settings and cannot get access to the interet browser still.

I am using Primary/Secondary HA address: 207.236.197.199
the MNC and MIP User ID are correct. Does anyone know the proper settings, or have any suggestions?

Additionally: the phone is reading as it is on the Sprint network. Also, when I open B Internet browser I get the error "Your device do not currently have any Browser Configuration Service Book entries". I think this is the root of my problem. Bell will not send me a service book entry.

I really appreciate any suggestions,
Andy

Are you still using Sprint as your carrier? If so then it should work as roaming data. I am not aware of anyway to flash or change CDMA phones to work with another carrier.

I am using Bell Mobility as my carrier. I altered the programming settings to connect my voice plan fine, but I do not know much regarding the data settings.

Thanks for your input though. Take care.

I think I need to get the service book from Sprint. I am having problems logging into the Sprint site to resend the sevice books, becasue the prevoius owner has the login information. Is this the only way to resend the service books?
