Unhappy Importing contacts and calendar entry's for BIS connection

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I just bought an 8830 on Sprint for my wife and she has a Mac with her contacts and calendar data on her Palm Pilot that she syncs with her Mac. Is there an easy way to import all this data so that she doesn't have to enter it manually?

Thanks,

Nerfman

Wirelessly posted (8800: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Using PocketMac she should be able sync to the BlackBerry. Can she get all the contacts, etc., into Entourage?
If she had access to a PC, using the Switch Device Wizard in Desktop Manager would move all the info from her Palm to BlackBerry.

J,

Thanks for the tips. She doesn't have a high enough version of her Mac OS in order to use PocketMac. Also, she cannot import in to Entourage as the options are limited. My guess is for her to export to a text file or something else then import.

I'm using XP and can't find "Switch Device Wizard in Desktop Manager," can you tell me where that is?

Thanks,

J,

Sorry, mind fart! I got it and since I don't use the Desktop manager much I didn't think about what you were talking about. I'm going to try that piece, thanks,
