I've pulled my battery couple of times but it still won't work.should I take my bb to the store I bought it from and ask for a new BB or do I need warranty?

Hold down the mute button to place device onto standby mode, this saves you from clicking everything.
Press down hard on the trackball and roll it at the same time in the direction thats not working (or all over the place, whatever works best). This will free up lint/dust etc that is causing the issue.
Hope it frees up for you, usually does.

I'm actually on my blackberry right now and I just tried what you said and it still didn't work.it was working fine the whole day and out of no where it just wouldn't go down. Do you know if they would exchange for a new BB? I'm actually thinking about buying the 8320 curve.

Also hold it face down for any debris to fall away.

Mine was doing that just yeterday.
