Default Can't delete e-mail without confirm (7520)

Please Login to Remove!

I use the plain old Blackberry Mail Service that simply picks up my pop3 account and downloads e-mails to my handheld.

I have had my Nextel 7520 BB set up to do this for a long time, but something changed recently that dropped a setting. For months, I was happily deleting e-mails one after the other with a single delete keystroke, and now suddenly... every single delete comes up and prompts me to confirm the delete on handset only or handset and mailbox.
Whatever the setting was that I had did only delete from my handheld, and did nothing whatsoever to my pop3 account on my desktop, which is as I desire.
I have been thru every setting and option that I can find on the handheld to return the delete function to "no confirm", but it still prompts me.

Any ideas?

If you go into messages > options > email reconciliations, what is 'delete on' set as?

Might be something in BIS 2.3/2.4 that made the change.

It's actually under Messages>Options>General Options>Confirm Delete yes/no.

There are NO options selectable under "e-mail reconciliation".

I've checked that particular setting several times over the last few weeks. It's set to "Confirm Delete: NO". I went so far as to set it to "YES" and turned off the handheld by pulling the battery, rebooting, then setting it back to "NO" and pulling the battery again, and rebooting. That setting does not seem to affect my ability to delete e-mails with a single keystroke. Which is odd because for so long, it did exactly that.

[Edited] I logged in to my Blackberry Internet Service e-mail settings and re-sent service books, and had the handheld re-send registration with the network. No changes. The registration notice came thru, and deleted with one keystroke. E-mails still make me confirm deletes.

Wirelessly posted (NakedBerry: BlackBerry7520/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

There are no options under email reconciliation for the "@blackberry.net" account, but there should be for the other email accounts you're polling. When in "email reconcilliation" hit the space bar to scan the different accounts you're polling and change the setting from "prompt" to "handheld".

Ok. Ok. Ok. I confess to terminal stupidity
I swear I've looked under the E-mail Reconciliation several times to see if there was something to be changed there, and have never seen anything. Now suddenly, if I click the trackwheel, a list of options pops up! one of them is "Delete on:___" It was set to "Prompt". I changed it back to "handheld" and it works just like it used to!
I did look under Reconciliation for any additional accounts by pressing the spacebar, but nothing showed up. I don't use the Blackberry.net e-mail account, only a pop3 account by my internet provider for work and home. But even that one didn't show up under any kind of list.
Neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things... my one-key delete works again!
Now who would like to posit an answer as to how that changed in the first place???

Answer: It just took a while for the BIS upgrade to reach your towers...?
West Central Georgia? Columbus, Macon area? Yep. Slow signal travel time.

Alright now!
Just because sunlight has to be delivered to my section of the "backwoods" on a haywagon, is no reason to denigrate my wireless service!

'Preciate the assistance.
