Anybody using this? Or an alternative? I'd love to hear what you think of what you're using to track your diet/excercise/weight.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I used it for a while, mostly when I had the 7100t and then some when I got the 8700. It is a decent application. But I've gone back to using fitday.com online, which I was using on the PC pre-blackberry. The fitday.com page doesn't display conceniently on the smaller displays, but it ok on my 8700, and it loads in a respectable amont of time with EDGE. But for an application on the blackberry, the ascendo product is good.

I purchased the Ascendo Fitness Program. It has some great features but unfotrunately it also has a number of unsolved bugs in the software. I am on my third trip to Ascendo attempting to resolve these issues. They are helpful. I also have used Total Fitness. It isn't as sophisticated but worked consistantly.

Default Reply for Ascendo Fitness Assistant

I have used Ascendo Fitness Assistant for several weeks, I use it to calculate my total calorie intake by using entries already included in the database, you may also add new entries, Ascendo provides a desktop companion with thousands of nutrition items that you can copy to your BlackBerry. Next I enter my daily exercise routine and then Ascendo Fitness Calculator tells me how many calories I have burned for the day. I also used the progress option to enter my daily weight and track my progress for a progressive chart of my weight loss. Ascendo Fitness did a great job of calculating my daily calorie intake..., total calories burned, the application also has several calculators to calculate your healthy weight, ideal weight, body mass index heart rate and finally your basic metabolic rate, these are calculated by entering your personal settings such as your height, weight, gender and age.

I used it for a while but gave it up. I just use the note pad and keep track of all of my info on sparkpeople.com. Great site and it's free. No need to use up all that memory on my BB.

I use and prefer Total Fitness. Although minimal support, it is extremely stable.

AF is graphically pleasing but cumbersome. Need to perform too many steps to enter food and view progress. Plus I never could get the desktop sync going.

I'm not looking for a fitness application, but I'm replying to this thread because I checked out the stuff from Cellica. I'm thinking that it's not what I need. I recently made the switch from PALM to BB, and I'm looking for something that is very similar to the MobileDB from Handmark. Any ideas?

Total Fitness beats everything out IMO, not to bring up an old thread, but incase you're still wondering. TF is it.

I track all my calories, goals, charts on here, and the support to export the data is great.
