Angry Rebooting from Poor Reception?

Please Login to Remove!

Lately, at least 2x/day, my phone has been rebooting when in areas of poor reception - especially when the reception initially comes back in (exiting subway tunnel). This even happens when I am using an app that does not require reception.

Any experiences or ideas?

Sounds like a software issue to me. Have you tried upgrading/reloading the OS? That might help. I never heard of a BB rebooting from poor reception, but who says it can't happen. Experience tells me it is a software issue. If you already reloaded the OS then I'm not sure. Have you made any recent changes like third party app install?

Just tossing some ideas out there.

I have reloaded the OS a few times. The only OS problem that I have had is the extreme slowness of loading the symbols page while texting.

I was told, on here, that my memory was low, but I deleted a ton of content and several apps that I don't use much.

Is there a way to know if an app is working in the background after I have closed it out? Any other ideas?

It would definitely help if I could figure out if any apps are working in the background. Is this possible?

Alt-Esc will toggle among all open apps.
