Hi all.

I'm immensely pregnant and therefore completely without brains today. I want to create a group. All goes well for adding the first member. If I try to add subsequent members, I do get the add member option coming up on the fly wheel again but if i click that then there doesn't seem to be any way to proceed and say "yes, add member" . All I get are the list of;
Filter
New Address
View
Edit
Sim phone book
etc
Surely I don't have to select and paste names and number individually?
I hope not to have to still be creating a birth notification list whilst in childbirth itself.
Please do help asap if you can.

Welcome to the Forums.

Whether an email or SMS group, it should not matter.

From the Address Book, > New Group. Add a member, and make sure it is the mobile phone you add. You should have a choice to "add member" next from the Menu. So it sounds like you are attempting it correctly.

I am trying to remember, perhaps SMS groups were not possible in the earlier OS version you are running.

My mom is using my old BB 7105t and I believe it's running the latest OS available for that model and it refuses to add SMS addresses to a group, only supports e-mail addresses.

I just tested my Curve running fairly current OS and it does have the option to do an SMS group.

I guess you may not be able to do an SMS group with certain models because the OS is too old. :(
