I just got a curve. I have set it up to actively connect to my home wifi. I have successfully connected and chosen the connection to be "wifi-preferred". However, now when i come home, it doesn't automatically jump to the wifi connection. I have to go to manage connections, turn the wifi and then on again, and then it goes over.

How can I get it to do this automatically?

How long do you give it when you get home?

well today i've been home now for about 4 hours, and it's still on the EDGE network and hasn't switched over.

What kind of router? Can you give us some more details on your setup?

I'm in philly and we have free wifi from the city. I don't know what equipment their using, but it happens at another house I'm frequently at and they have a pretty standard Linksys home router. When i'm there, I don't get a network signal because it's in the middle of nowhere, so the phone will site on "SOS", and only when i disable the wifi and turn it back on, will it connect to the previously configured wifi connection.
