Selling 8130 on VZW.

How do you remove your phone number from the phone.

It has been activated (*228), but now I've switched the ESN on my account to a different phone.

I've done "Wipe Phone" which got rid of my data, but my phone number still appears on the screen.

How do you get rid of this?

I think that is there until it is activated on another acct!

Will the new user be able to activate the phone?

When they do, does their number then replace mine?

You can enter ##000000 and then press the send key. If you delete or replace the Mobile Directory Number and IMSI_S with all zeros or and 10 diget string it and save it will take care of your problem.
