Its now on the wireless web section of the Internet Browser that comes with version .249. Go to Nextel Wireless Web--->Download Applications--->and its listed there as "Spell Check for BB 7520"

Works like a charm and isnt a hog like MetaMessage.

the app is downloaded from the nextel website so i dont know if you can get to it without being a nextel subscriber

What would be interesting is to have someone download it and post it here like they did with the Messenger app, and then it can be tested, I am sure that if it works on others everyone will be happy.

You can download it off the site that was posted and it will install onto any device (tested on a T-mo 7100t). However, when you click Check Spelling in the menu, it says that it must be a Nextel 7520. It may be possible to get it working, but it would require editing the program itself, not just it's delivery method. You can try it off the site given a few posts ago, but I'm gonna stick with BBCorrector.

For some reason i cant download it.....I have a 7520 and when i attempt to get to the site it tells me:

This application cannot be downloaded using Nextel Online. Please launch Internet Browser on your device to download this application.

I have also tried from Reqwireless and as some will know of Reqwireless, it didnt work....

Any ideas??

yep you need to use the free browser form nextel becuase you are loading it from that home screen

Can someone lead me in the right direction with this app. I have nextel. Is it on the web AKA nextel.com "My Nextel" or should I use the NOL web browser or the free pos browser? I am looking for application downloads but can't find it. I can find download apps on nextel.com but not spell checker.

having issues with dl from reqwireless program get all the way to where you agree with the license and it give this error, "Due too java security restrictions, you cannot use this application to download other Java MIDlets." also i am using a 7520

I have missed this thread - thought there was only one which I started in 3rd party software, good thing I looked.

Anyway, this spell check application was developed by us for Nextel and thus is is only available on their devices and network. Sorry guys! The non-nextel users can buy our eSpell package which now also includes on-device dictionaries (3 different sizes).

For those who have a problem with OTA, here is the link for desktop install package - http://www.dynoplex.com/nextel_spell...spellcheck.zip. Unzip it on your PC and add using AppLoader.

anyone else having problem with thgis application was working just fine on my old 7520 cant get it to work on my new one. says its installed but no menu to do a spell check

I can't get my spell check to work either Dawg. I get a java error. I have reloaded the os, wipe the handheld.
