They only mentioned that it won't drop in Feb. (no surprise there). Let's hope for March, but realistically April sounds a lot more likely.

and VZW doesnt disable anything. they just lock it to their own specific applications. When sprint started with GPS, you could only use TeleNav with it as well. This is not anything that is new in the Wireless industry, just currently VZW is the only one of the major carriers that does this in the states.

Hopefully the CDMA curve release will be like the 8703e and be just only several days apart from verizon to sprint or sprint to verizon, whomever gets it first. can't wait to test these guys out!

With the Pearl, both Verizon and Sprint pre announced the phone at least a month or so before it was released. I imagine the same will be true here. As there are no announcements yet in either camp, I can't imagine it coming any sooner then late Spring.
