Default Tmobile Data Eratic?

Hi Folks, I was sitting in a bar last night trying to use my 'berry as a modem for my laptop and it took AGES to connect and then when it did the speed was glacial. Also, one night about a week ago it wouldn't connect at all. Ter rest of the time its fine. Does anyone know if Tmobile has ongoing data access fluctuation problems?

Have you seen/read the posts about a BB outage? Most likely that is/was the problem.

I have been having delays today. I re-registered and resent my Service Books... but it still has been delayed. This is with BIS, not BES. BES seems to be the normal speed now but my BES BB is not on T-mobile.

This slowness is today only. It has been working fine for me the rest of the time.

There was a nationwide BIS outage for many hours starting at 6:00am ET today (20-FEB-08).
You're probably still suffering through the aftermath of that outage.

Doh! Also explains why I didn't hear about the outage from our T-support. They don't care about BIS, only BES.
