Default Micro SDHC Card help....

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

Thanks in advance to those that can help me.....

I purchased a SanDisk 4GB Micro SDHC card...its been formatted. my question is...I uploaded music to the card via desktop, I see that the card reads the music because when I go to the options menu>media card it says that 1 gb has been used up...when I go into my media to try to listen to some music...there is nothing there?? It happened to me the 1st time but I recently reformatted the card once again erasing everything and reuploading the files but now there is nothing there but my options>media card say otherwise. Any suggestions??

Thank you,

MNC40

make sure you unplug it from your computer first

also,

Make sure you put it in the "music" folder

and finally

It won't play music purchased from the Itunes Store (m4P)

Media support is on, its unplugged from the desktop, and all files have been uploaded to the music folder via desktop. Anything else that might be causing this? I know they are on the phone because its being read by the media card. Could the files be hidden?

The only media file that can be hidden and not automatically found by curves are picture files i believe. are your music files in mp3 format? i ask this because i've made the mistake of not converting it after I've ripped it from a cd before, you can find out by hovering over the song file or right-clicking on the song file and going to properties.

I have the same problem, formatted the card twice but nothing shows up on the phone even after creating a "music" folder. What format do you have to convert the files to?

format the sd card in the bb and turn on mass storage mode and it will create those folders accordingly

All of my music is in mp3 format.the mass media is turned on and it has all the created folders already.all files are in the "music" folder. I know they are on the card somewhere because it says that I have 2.9gb remaing from my 4gb.

I had a similar problem when I copied about 2GB of music all at once. I then deleted everything and copied over two folders at a time and haven't had any problems since then. Not sure why...

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/215)

my experience is i had many problems with deskrtop manager and my micro sd 2 gb card.i had the mass storage option on, and vista kept telling me to scan the disk to correct errors. I disabled the mass storage option, formatted the sd IN THE BB with BB format option. I. Never mix mass storage with desktop and it'se working fine. All the file transfer is done through desktop (roxio) and when in need to use mass storage, i disable desktop before pluging in
