Scenario:
1 BES - Win2K3 sp2 running BES 4.1.4
1 SQL 2005 remote database

Issue:

I'm preparing the installation of Web Desktop Manager and in the Installation Guide, there is information stating that an account needs to be specified with permission to query the LDAP server.

Right now my BES service account has write access to LDAP (it's part of a group that has Domain Admin rights). For WDM, I would like to use a different account for LDAP "read-only" access rather than the BES account.

Before starting the install, will I be prompted for credentials of this account for LDAP only? Am I tied to either the BES account or another account with all of the BES service account's permissions?

RIM says that I will be prompted for the user account during the install. I can then specifiy an acct other than the BES Admin.
