Default Activating BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hopefully someone can help me with what I hope is a simple question. I'm an IT contractor and bought a BB curve 2 weeks ago. Initially I set it up with BIS and all is now working well with my gmail.

However, I wanted to be be able to receive emails via the email account I have with my current client.

They have said they have configured my BB and that I need to activate it with BES. I've asked Orange for help and i'm still waiting for a call back.

Surely this is straight forward?

First make sure you have your carrier's Enterprise Plan or whatever Orange calls it is setup correctly on your plan.

If the company has set you up on their server then they should have given you an activation password. Navigate to Options>Advanced Options>Enterprise Activation. Enter the email address you have with your client and activation password they provided and select the option to Activate.

Thanks for the advice, makes sense now.

I've also spoken to Orange who have advised i don't have the BES plan.

Are there any other ways where i can receive emails sent to the email account im using on the customers domain so that I can reply to all?

Im currently forwarding emails to my own account but I can't reply as I don't have the senders (or cc's) email addresses on my BB.
