[Elgin]

Been Trying to figure this puppy out for the last few days, I'm running BES 4.1.4 MR4 with Exchange 2003.

The install was going great untill i needed to put in LDAP credentials. The wizard has a tendancy to crash and take down my dispatcher service with it. After a reboot everythings back up and i hit the setup.exe which will continue me at the LDAP page. Double/Tripple checked LDAP info, and tried a few variations like ldap://DCserver.Domain.com:389 and Ldap://domain.com:389

The crashes seem random, altho it has happened on initial install every time.
Once the wizard completes it tests the BAS services and says they start ok, close everything and check out Localhost... Page Cannot be displayed.

Double checked the BAS services and they were stopped. On manual start it starts then stops with a popup saying "Some services stop automatically if they have nothing to do".

The Event log Shows 3 Failures in Application Events: Module failed to load, Java Runtime failed, and the last just says "This info is part of the event BAS-NCC"


Going to Try to uninstall and run at the wizard again, see if i can get a clean install from beginning to end.

I was able to get this working on a seperate server. Just a little baffled as to why i'm haveing trouble installing it on the main BES. I have a fairly light User pool so consolidating the BES and Webdesktop together seemed the answer for me. Documentation only warned against it for performance reasons.

Any thoughts?
